Why Coffee is a much Better Fund-Raiser than Cookie Dough
Talk to anyone who has ever been part of a cookie dough fund-raiser and you are sure to hear a common complaint. Cookie dough has to be kept in a freezer. Imagine a pallet of cookie dough arriving at your school and the hassle of trying to find a freezer to accommodate all that cookie dough. When all of the parents show up on time to pick up the cookie dough orders and all of the people who ordered cookie dough are home to receive their order then it's not a problem. But, that never happens. For a variety of reasons some parents are unable to pick up their cookie dough at the designated time. This leaves the fund-raising coordinators scrambling to find a freezer to store the cookie dough. Once the parents do pick up their cookie dough it has to be delivered immediately or stored in their freezer at home. Rarely are you able to deliver it and find the people at home ready to receive their deliver. This results in a lot of frustrated parents trying to find freezer space in their neighbors freezers to temporarily store cookie dough while they try to arrange delivery.
